- Check-in from 09.00 and check-out at 12.00 (midday).
- Can I leave the room late?
- It is possible to leave the room later than midday. You will have to notify reception.
- Can I choose the type of beds in my room? (large bed – two beds)
- You can choose between a double bed and two beds.
- Do the rooms have a balcony or terrace? Can I book one?
- All the rooms have a balcony, some are exterior (Puerta del Sol) and others interior (Salon Cupula).
- Are there rooms for non-smokers?
- Yes, the hotel has rooms for non-smokers.
- How many floors are there in the building? Is there a lift?
- The hotel has 5 floors and 2 lifts, each with capacity for 8 people. There is also a service lift.
- Is there air-conditioning in the rooms? Does it work all year round?
- Sí. Entre Abril y Octubre funciona el aire acondicionado; de Noviembre a Marzo la calefacción. Además hay radiadores en los baños.
- Does your hotel cater for disabled people?
- Yes. Both the cafeteria and the general services. There is a disabled toilet in reception and 2 rooms adapted for people with reduced mobility.
- Can you take care of my luggage when I leave the room?
- Your luggage can be taken care of without any additional charge. For long absences consult reception.
- Where can I park my car in a safe place? How much does it cost?
- There are many car parks in the immediate vicinity of the hotel (Puerta del Sol): Plaza del Carmen (the closest), Sevilla, Plaza de Benavente, Plaza Mayor and Plaza de las Descalzas. The daily price is approximately €24.70 (better to check the price directly at the car park).
- Is there any internet or email access in the hotel for clients?
- Yes, in the hall there is a business centre with 2 internet points. In the Salon Cupula there are various connection points.
- Do they offer high-speed Internet in the room for my laptop? Is it wireless (without cables)?
- There is high-speed Internet via cable in all the rooms.
- Is there any romantic peaceful room? How can I book it?
- We have 3 exclusive rooms with views over Puerta del Sol, fully equipped for a romantic evening. Can only be booked upon request.
- What languages do they speak at reception?
- Spanish, English, French, Italian, Portuguese.
- Where can I hire a car?
- You will find all the companies at your disposal in Atocha train station (15 minutes).
- How far is Puerta del Sol?
- We are the only hotel in Madrid located right on Puerta del Sol.
- How far is the Prado Museum?
- 10 minutes walk.
- How much is a taxi from the airport? How long does it take?
- The taxi will cost roughly €30 and will take between 20 and 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
- What is the area it is located in like?
- It is the best and most charming area of Madrid: The centre.
- I’m travelling to attend a fair in IFEMA: Can I get there easily from your hotel?
- The metro is the quickest, cheapest and most convenient way. There are fairs which offer free transport from calle Gran Via.
