Disney, el arte de contar historias en Madrid

In Madrid you can return to your youth, enjoy classic cartoons and let your imagination soar. The Caixaforum exposition, “Disney, the art of storytelling” allows you to rekindle long-forgotten childhood memories and delight the youngest members of the family.

This exposition has passed through numerable Spanish cities, such as Seville and Barcelona, and cities abroad in countries like Denmark and Sweden. You can get lost among the original prints and drawings on display from movies like Fantasia, Snow White and Robin Hood.

The exhibit follows a theme that unveils the ins and outs of the animation process, helping visitors delve deeper into the “making of” the movies. It is a way of involving visitors in the creative process of the movies which marked their childhoods.

The exhibit is undoubtedly dedicated to nostalgists and little ones since it also includes drawings and scripts from more current films, such as Frozen. It is a way for visitors to have a good time with the entire family that is unique and different.

The exhibit uses scripts and watercolors as the basis for showing how animated movies are created. A major portion of the exposition includes themed workshops consisting of talks and children’s activities designed for visitors to enjoy and reclaim their youthful spirit in a unique and different manner.

The exposition will be at the Caixaforum (Paseo del Prado, 36) in Madrid until Sunday, November 4, 2018. Opening hours are from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and general admission is €4. Feel like a kid again at this one-of-a-kind exhibit on Disney’s art of storytelling.
