Ghost: The Musical

The love story that revolutionised the cinemas in 1990 arrives at Gran Vía in Madrid: Ghost: The Musical. You will be able to enjoy this wonderful story, transformed into a musical, which has been a hit in Broadway and London and continues to surprise its spectators. Starring Cristina Llorente and Roger Berruezo and directed by Federico Bellone, this play promises to captivate all kinds of audiences.

Resurrected almost thirty years later, Ghost the Musical continues to tell the story of a man who returns from beyond to protect his wife. Sam dies in a robbery and remains as a ghost to protect Molly from the same robbers who are now stalking her life. Sam manages to communicate with Molly through Oda Mae, who initially only planned to defraud Molly, but eventually develops psychic abilities and manages to establish a bridge between the two worlds.

The director stated that “this play talks about making decisions at the right time, taking advantage of the moment and not being afraid. Because, unfortunately, there is only one life. And sometimes we are afraid to say ‘I love you’ or ‘I don’t love you anymore’ and make the right decision for us.

To capture the magic of the beyond, the play features Paolo Carta, an illusionist with extensive theatre experience. Paolo manages to recreate the famous scene when Sam crosses Oda Mae provoking in the spectator the sensation of mystery and mysticism that surrounds the world of the dead.

The play, which has already sold more than 25,000 tickets and has travelled to 18 countries on three continents, is suitable for all audiences. Hand in hand with LetsGo productions, Ghost the Musical is shown from Tuesday to Thursday 20:30 h. Fridays and Saturdays 18:00 and 21:30 h. Sundays 18:00 hours. On 31 October, in honour of Halloween, there will be a double function at 8:00 and 21:30 and on New Year’s Eve there will also be a special function. Ticket prices start at 25€.
