Noches del Botánico

In summer, Madrid’s cultural offer is enriched every year thanks to the cycle of Botanical Nights concerts. Every year when summer arrives, the Royal Botanical Garden of Alfonso XII brings together artists of all genres to offer the residents and visitors a truly special event in a magnificent location.

The festival began on June 20th with the jazz band “Woody Allen & the Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band” and runs until July 31st to close with Russian Red, the renowned Spanish singer of indie, folk and pop. However, the music scene features big names from all genres such as Macy Gray and The Roots with R&B and Hip Hop music, Niña Pastori, Juanes, Monsieur Periné and Andrés Calamaro representing Latin American pop and rock music.

Legendary artists will also perform such as Daryl Hall & John Oates or Michael Bolton, the popular pop band Keane that has also returned to the stage, as well as various genres such as Celtic music with Loreena McKennitt, Ben Harper’s reggae & The Innocent Criminals, classic hip hop Orishas, among many other artists.

In addition to the music diversity that is the hallmark of this festival, attendees will also find a design market and a variety of foodtrucks with a gastronomic offer almost as varied and eclectic as the musical styles of the festival.

In Botanical Nights you will certainly find artists who satisfy almost any musical taste, with tickets around 30€. From Sol, you can easily reach the venue by metro at the Ciudad Universitaria station.
