Fitur 2020 starts in Madrid

Madrid opens its doors one more year to tourism professionals from all over the world on the occasion of the International Tourism Fair 2020, commonly known as FITUR. The 2020 edition, which will take place from January 22 to 26, coincides with the 40th anniversary of the Madrid Tourism Fair. This edition promises to be the most international and professional so far, with numerous meeting spaces for professionals, as well as a wide variety of activities, presentations and performances on opening days to the general public, on January 25 and 26.

In addition, this year Fitur has the honor of having South Korea as a partner country to celebrate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations with Spain. South Korea is a safe and attractive destination, with modern infrastructure and a high quality public transport network.

What to see in FITUR 2020

We highlight the FITUR B2B Match or the more specialized FITUR MICE, responsible for promoting incentive tourism, business travel and meetings to promote business exchanges and professional contacts. As if this were not enough, it will deepen in sections such as FITUR FESTIVALES or FITUR CINE, or in monographic spaces such as FITUR SALUD, FITUR TECH and FITUR KNOW HOW, characterized by technological innovation as a fundamental tool for the correct development of the tourism sector. Madrid also bets on FITURGREEN, which promotes sustainability through energy savings in tourism and hotel management.

The exhibition area is enlarged to achieve predictable growth. This year it will feature 10 pavilions dedicated to Africa (which will occupy the entire pavilion 1), the Middle East (pavilion 2), America (pavilion 3), Europe (pavilion 4), Asia – Pacific (pavilion 6), Spain (pavilions 5 , 7 and 9) and Tourism companies of the world (pavilion 10). More than 11,000 companies and 165 countries / regions will be present in this great showcase of tourism.
