Van Gogh Alive, exposición inmersiva sobre el pintor

If you are a fan of post-impressionism, especially Vincent Van Gogh, you can’t miss the most visited multimedia exhibition in the world. After touring 40 cities in four different continents, the Van Gogh Alive exhibition at the Círculo de Bellas Artes returns to Madrid with new features.

Unlike typical exhibitions, here visitors can interact with the pieces. It is an interactive exhibition which, thanks to the Sensory 4 TM technology, allows the artworks to come to life on the walls, columns and even the floors of the venue. This makes the exhibition experience unique, as the colors, lights and sounds stimulate the senses in a way that is different from the canvas. In typical exhibitions, one walks through the corridors in silence, admiring the canvases, but this experience allows the viewer to immerse themselves and go deeper into Van Gogh’s works and world.

Here you can see the flight of the birds of his famous Crows in a Wheat Field, or enjoy the constellations that Van Gogh captured in The Starry Night. You can also take a close look at his famous self-portraits or paintings such as Arles’s Room and The Sunflowers.

This year the exhibition will include a workshop aimed at children and drawing and painting enthusiasts. At the Fernando de Rojas Theatre of the Círculo de Bellas Artes you will not be able to miss the opportunity to become a painter for a day and let your imagination and creativity run wild like the Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh. Art lovers will not be able to resist putting their talent to the test with the inspiration of his more than 900 paintings and 1600 drawings, including self-portraits and watercolors. A perfect activity to captivate the curiosity of children and stimulate adults’ creativity.

The exhibition is located a few minutes from our hotel, in the Círculo de Bellas Artes. You can visit it from Monday to Sunday from 10-23h and tickets are 16€.
